DIVERGENT AND INSURGENT

BACK STORY: Divergent is a movie about a young girl named Tris Prior who lives in a dystopian world with her two parents and brother Caleb Prior. Five factions were created in order to keep the peace since the world ripped itself into pieces before. The five factions are Erudite (the intelligent), Abnegation who are selfless and kind, Amity who are farmers and peacekeepers, Dauntless (policemen of the city) who are fearless and strong, and Candor who believe honesty and order. This dystopia heavily depends on serums they use in order to test and control their citizens. Serums are used in order to see which faction you belong to. It’s like falling into a deep sleep and for most people, they don’t realize it is a dream they just do what they need to do to survive. The divergent are basically “ lucidly dreaming” in the serum dream and they are able to detect if the dream is real or not. Tris Prior was born into abnegation but after her serum test in which was inclusive because she was divergent, she chose to be dauntless. While she was in divergent she found love with Tobias Eaton or also known as “ four”. The first book is mainly about Tris learning how to fit in with dauntless but still hiding her Divergent secret. Eventually, her secret comes in hand when the Dauntless are forced to take a serum in which they’re forced to kill all of the abnegations. Tris was awake during this and able to fight the serum therefore she was able to fight Erudite and stop their plan. Luckily she had help from her boyfriend Tobias who was also divergent. The next book “ insurgent” is how Tris stays with all the other factions in order to hide from Erudite. Erudite did not give up and instead did “ phase two” which was to capture all the divergent in order to open this special box that was created by the founders of the city. Tris eventually turns herself into Erudite and opens the box without dying and the box said that the divergent actually helped the society, not destroy it.

THE POINT OF VIEW OF AN ERUDITE

Tris prior who was once abnegation, dauntless and now divergent has stopped the plans of the Eurudtie with the help of Tobias Eaton. Tobias Eaton who was once abnegation now dauntless was an alley to Tris and defeated Jeanine by fighting the given serums. Erudite who want to leave must now evacuate the building and find safety with other factions who are not a target as of now. Please return your blue clothes and name tags as these will be eyecatchers for those against Erudite. Children are to evacuate first and leave with one parent as it is dangerous to travel with groups. The erudite is to blend in with the others and must wear black and white, grey, or black clothes. For those 18 years and older and loyal to Jeanine, you will be needed for the second phase of Jeanine’s plan. To those devoted to her, you are to stay in the second wing of the building and arm yourselves in case of intrusion. If you know how to fight, you are wanted in the front lines where Erudites prepare for battle against rebel dauntless. Tris prior is now Erudites and Dauntlesses enemy and you are to search and look for her because is the key to phase two. The box found under Tris’s house is to be opened only by the divergent and Tris is a well known powerful Divergent. Under any circumstances DO NOT KILL TRIS PRIOR or phase two will automatically finish. Erudite believes the box is the key new life and a conformation that divergent is harm. With this box Erudite states, the society will have order and will allow erudite to rule all five factions. Lastly, for transportation please do not use the self-driven cars as they are only for Erudite officials and those in the front line.

THE DAUNTLESS AGAINST DAUNTLESS REBELS

Tris Prior has escaped the premises and has killed several officers on her way out. If you see her please capture her, you will be fined if she does not survive. Tris Prior has gone against dauntless rules and has lied to officials of who she is. She has cheated her way through the initiation tests which ultimately means she is a fraud. All dauntless please return to dauntless headquarters or you will be dismissed to the factionless. Food will be provided as well as clothes and safety will be provided as long as you prove loyalty. Weekly tests will be done on all dauntless who return to ensure they aren’t rebels or worse divergent. The serums given out weekly will not be the same as the one given out where dauntless went against abnegation- as stated before that serum was out of our control and was created solely by Erudite. Although dauntless worked alongside them dauntless did not intend for an outbreak to occur. Dauntless has theories that if Tris Prior and Tobias Eaton are not captured society will only get worse due to the misbehavior of Tris Prior. She is no longer a policeman and a peacekeeper of society but now a rebel and a threat. With order and obedience to your faction, society will remain and not be broken into pieces like our past history.

AMITY:
Tris Prior and Tobias Eaton will now be living in our headquarters until further notice. Please dismantle any propaganda other factions have put out because like candor we do not condone dishonesty. We open everyone with open arms and you are all to show them how we farm, cook, and keep clean. Please let them reuse all clothes Amity currently has because they now have to blend in with us all. Please do not resort to fighting since they’re fugitives and if they are to cause any harm or disobedience to anyone you are to report it to the head council. The head council of amity has talked to both Tris and Tobias and she has stated that they have all the right reasons to leave as what they did to Jeanines plans were genius. Amity must pardon any acts they’ve committed because they solely did it to help others survive the mass genocide Erudite and Dauntless had almost committed. You are to act accordingly if dauntless or erudite is to arrive here. If any other refugees come through the gate please direct them to the head council where we can get everyone situated and we can all live in harmony.

The caption said “ life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself. I feel like this goes against so many sayings. The normality is that you are supposed to find yourself, understand that you are that bad ass, strong independent woman/man but in reality you are creating that person. That person never existed until you went through things and reevaluted things. You see, you aren’t ever lost, in fact you’re actually creating yourself during the moment you feel so “ lost”. I think this saying could also help you come out of that mindset of thinking that you’re lost, if anything you could change your mindset and think “ I want to create my new self” not “ I want to find myself”. I feel that you are constantly creating yourself as life goes on.

Two people are sitting together with no phone in front of the sunset having what looks like a deep conversation. In a relationship I think a lot of people tend to create a better version of themselves. People learn to be more kind, compassionate and caring to others and in the end if the relationship ends they know how to be more kind, compassionate and caring to others and if it goes on that trait only grows stronger.

A night clip was on an empty highway road. Most deep thoughts are done in the night and personally, the best are done outside at night. Everything is quiet and you start to listen to yourself or listen to the people with you. It’s like only you and them exist ( or if you’re alone, it’s just you). A lot happens in the day and I feel like no one truly focuses because of the rush, but at night everything slows down and then so do you.

The Tik Tok ends with a grey sky at the beach and then loops again to the sunset. I think that the loop could’ve been better with a better transition but I think the person that filmed it did well with adding a variety of clips instead of the same sunsets but different spots on the beach.
